Physics with Global Implications
An interesting article in the NYT about two MIT-trained physicists central to the negotiations between the US and Iran.
I saw him give a talk a number of years ago, and it sure seemed to me like Moniz is a serious guy. He has been worrying about big picture issues of energy and nuclear security in a thoughtful way for a long time.
Doug: I've not heard of him, but good to hear "thoughtful" to describe someone "high-up." In contrast, if your stomach is up for it, you can read what an ex-ambassador of the US advised for the Iran situation.
